I’m leaving in about an hour to go to Bretagne! I’ll be gone until Tuesday! I’m super excited to see the other end of France.

Redoing Cultural Relativity!!!

Hiya everybody!!!

Sorry for the long pause. I’ve been very busy with moving and visa papers and the winter holidays, etc. I decided to redo the blog theme and make it more colorful and more focused on images. I tend to like photos I’ve noticed. I’ll be adding to the pages that exist, finishing up a few projects, as well as continuing with current news. I’m only really behind, but with an upcoming consulate visit I decided to get on top of things.

I have a lot to add, words an pictures, so hopefully before my flight (Jan 23rd!!!!!) I’ll have everything up and flowing and looking fantastic.

Looking for feedback on the new theme!!! I really like the colors 🙂

Confirmation Materias are in!

Its always exciting to have checklists completed checked. All the required materials for my confirmation materials to SIT Study Abroad are in, or mailed. Next step is to make a budget and figure out the loan process. Having never gone through the loan process I’ll be posting the general steps so that others can learn from my experience. Ideally, everyone should try to get their program covered as much as possible by scholarships and grants. I applied for a lot of scholarships for my last program in France so I have to wait a certain amount of time for a lot to reapply.

Although I was hoping to get to Senegal this upcoming Spring, I’ve decided to play it safe and return to France. I just wasn’t confident enough in my abilities to do the research-based program that was offered in Senegal. However! My sight is still on Africa and luckily there is a summer program in Madagascar, that fits perfectly with my Anthropology degree!

And the adventure begins again!!!!
